I would like to come into your classroom to do a booktalk lesson. I ask that you:
  1. Pick a time and let me know either by MSN, txt, email, or Skype.
  2. Have kids read a storybook they are reading for you anyway. This could be any storybook in your curriculum about any subject. If your kids are reading chapter books, that is fine too. I'm looking for a fiction book.
  3. If your class would like, you may fill out the story sequence charts before I get there OR we can fill them out when I get there. I can provide copies or you can print them off the BCAPD Wiki -> http://bcapd.wikispaces.com/ Booktalks (a work in progress, so watch for falling links)

Grades 2 – 5 :
I would like to come into your elementary classroom during one of the following times to demonstrate a lesson using VoiceThread. I need for you to A) choose the time, available on a first come, first serve basis and B) pick one content area that you would like me to reinforce with your class (Science, Social Studies, Math, Reading, Spelling, Bible, etc.) and tell me a little about the concepts, hand me the book, or somehow give me a hint.
I will:
· Come in for a 15-20 minute lesson using my cart & your screen
· Record children’s voices
· Embed a copy of the VoiceThread for you on your wikipage or blog
